A global “Thank You, Lithuania” campaign will take place across the country with the aim to thank for all the Lithuanian people for successfully overcoming the first wave of COVID-19, also to call for hope to resolutely meet other challenges ahead.
The “Thank you, Lithuania!” campaign is going to show up with the sounds of music throughout the country: in the squares, parks of cities and towns, on the roofs of administrative and cultural institutions.
The State Ensemble “Lietuva” joins this initiative and arranges its performance in Vilnius, near the Lithuanian National Museum (next to the Mindaugas monument). Works from the musical performance “Mažvydas” will be performed, and our beloved colleague Giedrius Arbačiauskas will take part in this concert as well.
Due to the requirements of the quarantine regime, it is necessary to maintain a safe distance at events, in open spaces from 1th of June. Also it cannot be more than 300 people.
