This program includes newly created works by Lithuanian and world composers, arranged for an orchestra of folk instruments and also adapted to the church environment. Although Lithuanian folk instruments are more often heard in concert halls, their sound in the aura of the church, in harmony with the choir, is especially sacred. Amazing ecclesiastical acoustics give the works grandeur, more sound and colors.
Concert works vary from the Lithuanian classic M.K. Čiurlionis to famous composers such as Eriks Ešenvalds or Ennio Morricone. The composer G. Svilainis’ Mass “His Will” is played as well. The latest one has been rated by music critics.
